Thinking about the first episode of the #AmericanRevolution last night: A pastor I had many years ago said when he was a teen and asked for the car keys, his mom would put them in his hand and say, "Remember who you are." I feel like at a crucial moment in our country Ken Burns is doing the same. 🙏💕

Oh man, first snow (they were right! And early!) and a mama deer and her young one came by and found the bird feeders empty. 😔 As soon as they left I refilled them. I hope they come back for an evening snack.

Sweet and funny visit just now with three lovely ladies in the memory care unit of a facility. We were sitting at a table, talking about fall. I mentioned that for some reason this year I've developed allergies.

I'm preparing for new floors that go in next Monday and I called a local piano mover, hoping they'd put the piano on a dolly and leave it at the house, but he didn't feel that was safe. He offered to move the piano to their warehouse for a week and then bring it back for the same cost.
