I was going to take a break from the romantasy genre after finishing Throne of Glass in, what feels like record time (to me at least). I tried, but instead I finished Fourth Wing in four days, and now I'm on to Iron Flame. I'm really enjoying this series. Wonder what's next after it!

So I've been back into my Octopath Traveler save for about a week now. I legit just forgot how good this game was. I'm about halfway through I think? I keep getting stuck on story boss battles, but I eventually figure it out. I kind wish I had started with a different character though?

I was having such a rough day yesterday morning, then I got some work done, beat a boss in Elden Ring in under 5 minutes, took my bestie out for her birthday, and ran into friends I hadn't seen in years. This morning I am feeling so full of gratitude for the people in my life.

I have rekindled my love of Elden Ring. Last week I really wanted to pick up Balder's Gate 3, but I convinced myself to play something from my backlog instead. I'm really glad I did ya'll. I forgot how fun this game is!

I took zero pictures because I was hungry, but we tried a new-to-us Asian fusion restaurant for lunch. It was nice to find a decent place for ramen not far from home!
