still I have a few that I think are my favorite for each month
and so here's a thread with details on each in the alt text

one for each month 🧵
first off, January-April's pics
January was not very "big art" heavy and mostly consisted of doodles but this one of me and Isa L Quetzal where I realized we had the same kind of shirt was done fairly 'complete' and I liked that this is how we met so its my fav for the month This was February's pick where I attempted to try and 'mimic' some of the styles my friends had. I was marginally successful in them but what got to me was the fact that Verity mentioned she had to do a double take because she was wondering when she drew that before she realized it was a mimicry of her style, which was a very nice confidence boost This is March's pick, where I drew Enderflower303 in a luna moth skirt thing from NyahalloShop's creation this one literally got over 100 likes and it may still be the most interacted with image I've had on this site, of course all that means is that this is the art to beat in terms of numbers lol April's pick is this art of Verity in her business woman fit giving you a headpat It was one of my first proper attempts at shading and trying a 'complete shaded' image and it turned out pretty good and got me plenty of praise for it, I think the lineart of this even got Verity to want to render it herself

There's this sodapop gradient nap I used a lot here. Gerson Boom in a part of his house. This is the scene right before Susie is given the Hammer. The style for this pic changed all future artworks. Older pic of Pyra Pneuma and Mythra showcasing the hard lineart style I use for my webcomic. Kind of an inbetween.

Webcomic Summary 2025😎📝

The year is nearly over and new chapters won't be up until after New Year's Day, so I'm doing a recap of my favorite scenes I drew from my webcomic INVariance. Alt text will(maybe) contain the thought process for each😎

The first interaction between Phinn and Kel was nice. Light shines on em from different angles as Phinn walks in front of him here. Little things like that go a long way for setting the tone for me. One of my favorite side characters, Anyta Lambhert and her posse of black cats. Shes is heavily based on several influential figures in my life like my middle school teachers and the like. She even carries over their accents. A lot of teachers called me "too old" for my age. Anyta is the type of character that would do the same and then drop some old Jamaican Patois proverb, just like she does here. The phrase used here is a variation of a common saying "Ne broom sweep clean, but ole broom know dem cahnas" saying that a new broom sweeps clean and looks good on the surface, but an old broom knows how it used to be and knows what to target. Its a lesson about experience as well as never letting go of the old ways. Phinn, of course, much like young me when my grandma used to say stuff like this, does not fully understand and goes on with her day lololol. This scene was actually painful to draw. Imagine going to work everyday and you're ready to do your best because this job is your passion. But everyday someone passes by and says the same thing. "Oh you're so good at this. You're not like the others. But you're still one of them." People dont approach your store because "you're one of them." You cant sell to anyone but regulars because "youre one of them." And you work is trashed because, well, you get it by now. I'm sure that this chapter explained the problem here for Everhen. So it was amazing that one simple gesture was all it took. A simple wave. And his day is improved. Of course, you can't stay long because loitering in front of an establishment led by "one of them" will alert the droids. And because youre not "one of them" you'll be seen as less than normal for any interactions made that aren't business. Hate it here lmaoo. This scene took 3 hrs to draw... Thats it. Thats why its here... no interesting alt text like the others for you. You're the odd child lol. But maybe... the design itself is significant. Hopefully I get to draw more about the main city of Khlier in the new year😎

"Sure is bright out tonight." Phinn sits on top of a chimney and Chester flies out from under her hat. "Hey, aren't you cold?" she says as she reaches up to place her hand below Chester. "Guess not with all this Praehar huh? So far, it seems like we've collected the most. 99 stars all for me! Ethan's right behind us on the scoreboard, but he's so familiar with all of it. It's like he was born to be with Praehar." Phinn sulks with her arms locked around her legs. "There's still a part of me that thinks all of this is just... too much. What if I'm not what Thea says...Will it... will it all be a waste? All this time, I've been thinking about the outcome. What happens when we go to Synopia and help Ethan? Will people even know what I've done?" Chester motions to Phinn's lap and directs her gaze to the night sky. From the stillness of the moon, a streak of light illuminates the heavens above. "A comet..." Phinn says. Chester falls into Phinn's lap again trying to convey a message. Phinn laughs. "Ok, ok I get it. It's too early to think about all that stuff. I should be thinking about the things I have now. The impact I could make now rather than sulking about the future. A comet. A comet shines bright as it flies through the sky, tearing apart the clouds in its path. And where it lands, it creates new space. New opportunities. Like when you landed into my life. Did I pass the test?" Chester nods. "Thanks Chester. You're the best... uhh, living being a girl could ever have." says Phinn. "Now, let's go beat up Ethan and take this victory! I should also probably get off of this person's chimney. He's gonna be tough, but he's just another cloud in our path! I will be the PraeStar queen!!" Phinn says as she leaps off the chimney.
