Right now, corporate centrist sellout #Democrats are more fearful of their donors than their base.

We need to change that if we want a meaningful bulwark to fascism.

Sanders: The wealthiest people on earth are pouring hundreds of billions into research and development for AI and robotics. You think they’re doing that because they’re thinking, “Oh man, this is going to be something that will improve life for working people, for low-income people.”?

These people want genocide against the working class
Companies should be required to explain why they can’t pay living wages, and why taxpayers need to subsidize their profits when they force their employees to rely on SNAP.

Chris, please throw your hat in the ring and challenge Schumer's leadership.

I've heard people question why I spend most of my energy attacking centrist #Democrats instead of MAGA.

I do regularly attack Trump, but millions of others on this app will also do that.

Centrist Democrats are actively allowing MAGA fascists to get away with everything and are also your enemies.

Don't ever date a centrist #Democrat because their special talent is gaslighting you.

VOTE IN YOUR PRIMARIES! If you ever wonder why we constantly are left with bad politicians, it's because people often don't research or go to the polls for #Democratic primaries.

As far as I know not a single sitting Dem senator has demanded Schumer’s resignation as leader.

Not one.

Until the #Democrats begin refusing billionaire and GOP-aligned donations for their campaigns, they will continue to act as a controlled opposition party.

The same Democratic Party that just surrendered in the shutdown fight:

- gave up pandemic relief without a fight
- failed to ban gerrymandering
- gave up on Build Back Better
- voted to confirm Trump’s appointees.

Rollover.
Wither.
Die.

Like Fox News line: Democrats win, they lose.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

When corporate Democrats say "no more purity tests," what they mean it "let me keep taking corporate money without being held accountable."

The national Democratic party is a far-right party bought by far-right billionaires who also funded Trump's campaign.

Democrats legit have ZERO interest in keeping their base together. All they want is to insider trade and collect campaign contributions.

Dem base that gave them a blue tsunami: DON'T CAVE

Majority of Dem elected officials: DON'T CAVE

The majority of Americans blame the GOP for the shutdown and higher costs...

8 Dem Centrists (and you better believe Schumer knows what's up): Nah, We'll cave.

I guarantee you calls came from donors.

I think tonight shows why “moderate to win elections” is a real risk

the big divide in the Dem caucus, as many have noted, has been less moderate vs progressive than fight versus don’t fight

but it’s not a coincidence that basically everyone in the “don’t fight” camp is a moderate

Dems: Donate now to save democracy

Dems: cave on Big Beautiful Bill

Dems: Your donation will save America!

Dems: Cave again, risking ACA

Dems tomorrow: Just 25 dollars could keep the republic alive!

There are wide lanes open for Democratic candidates who believe in something other than neoliberalism and insider trading.

No. this isn't bad political instincts. This is cynical and by design at the command of Wall Street who fund both parties.
agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

Reminder that most Republican and Democratic senators are multi-millionaires who will never have to worry about their healthcare premiums.
