The church deserves better
In light of discussion I've seen here on Huff's wonderful substack critiquing the "Hahn School," here's a review I wrote a couple years ago on Bergsma and Morrow, Murmuring against Moses. This book is another product of that school. Let me tell you: it's not serious work. shorturl.at/N8jR1

Yeah this really gets me too. And the truly weird thing is that he has to tie Exodus in knots to get there. If he just read the canonical text straightforwardly, he'd get a much more Catholic-friendly depiction of the priesthood as a Very Good Plan A
