Hi @jeffcannata.bsky.social I also just watched ET with my kids (9 and 11) and when the death scene comes my wife and I made sure to tell them that this is all make believe. No one really got hurt. I also wanted to preserve the dramatic tension while letting them know everything will be ok.

Hi @jeffcannata.bsky.social I’ve been following you since the TRS days. The show started right after I moved abroad to Germany. It felt like keeping up with my culture and was always a positive parasocial relationships for me. It’s exciting to see a movie the Dan’s movie being marketed here now.
