Open for more than 20 years in DeKalb, the Tails Humane Society has been sheltered over 40,000 animals. The shelter provides a home for a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.

For the past 10 years, the Huskie Food Pantry has helped students obtain food and connect with their community. The pantry operates on donations from the community and includes items like fresh fruit, vegetables, rice, frozen meals and hygiene products.
