Dilan, a snowpoint Vulpenta. He has mainly grey fur, with turqoise highlights. His crystals are white. His claws are big, as is typical for a snowpoint Vulpenta Cyla, a Tempestrian Vulpenta. Her fur /feathers are green and brown tones, with her crystals being a minty green. She has talons and feathered arms, which can be expanded into actual wings, as is typical for a Tempestrian Vulpenta

Now that Hytale is here, I'm reminiscing about these shark-inspired mob design ideas I sketched out five years ago.

An attempt to diversify our idea of sharks in games, moving beyond the old stereotypes of aggressive mobs without depth! 🦈✨

Illustration of a concept for a shark mob called Ocelot Shark. Inspired by the zebra shark, nurse shark, and bamboo shark, it is yellow with round red spots reminiscent of a jaguar. This shark lays external eggs hanging from corals, which are inspired by the pouch-shaped and spiral design of shark eggs. They would be peaceful and would flee upon showing aggression; sometimes they can be heard making a barking-like noise on the surface of the water when they surface to gulp air. Illustration of a concept for a shark mob called Galleon Shark. Inspired by the tiger shark, it is bluish in color with dark stripes and yellow details, with a reddish snout tip and protuberances resembling small horns on its head. This shark would tend to hunt other sharks around it, being more active at night. They would be peaceful but could become aggressive when threatened. They are quite curious and do not hesitate to approach. More on the Galleon shark concept. The illustration shows that they can be attracted to food in the player's bag, approach while you have your back turned, and steal the food, quickly swimming away. But it is shown that if you tap its snout as it approaches, it will swim away. Illustration of a concept for a mob called “Wanderer Shark,” inspired by the whale shark and the colors of sea slugs. It would be large and slow, yellow in color with vibrant cyan and blue accents and details on its fins reminiscent of butterfly wings. They would be accompanied by small “fairy fish,” inspired by the behavior of remoras that accompany sharks. They are blue, pink, and yellow in color, and their small fins resemble fairy wings. They would be gentle giants that just wander the open sea in search of magical plankton. They say that their presence is announced when the plankton glows with bioluminescence.
