If, in 4 years, US democracy still exists, and we’re all just being alarmists about the new American oligarchy, the new president will be a private citizen and possibly sentenced for his crimes but I’m not holding my breath.

I suppose one way to convince those with power that the majority of human beings are scared for their lives is to make those in power scared for their lives

I honestly can’t stand the “but the other side did the opposite thing than they said they would do” posts. They don’t do anything except feed people’s need of feeling superior.

Plus, pointing out hypocrisy is an ineffective strategy at addressing the hypocritical since they DONT FUCKING CARE 🤷🏽‍♂️

Both of my parents were proud they never took a “handout” from the government.

My divorced, single parents of 3, server and bartender, who moved homes due to financial constraints over a dozen times before I was 18, whose cabinets were almost always bare, were proud of never taking a “hand out”.
