Liger taking shape. Base body is close to complete. I wasn’t going to start the legs tonight, but I did give the claws a pedicure and painted them gold.

I was going to start 2026 with something else in my backlog, but a bunch of us model builder discord I’m in realized we all had Zoids HMM kits to work on so we decided to make it a themed project of the month for all of us. I opened up my Liger Zero Panzer that I pre ordered awhile ago.

Survived 2025. It was a lot of peaks and valleys, but I want to thank all the people who cared for me and their other fellow human beings that made it better than it could’ve been. Let’s make 2026 as good as we can by taking care of each other.

Only a few years before he passed, we learned my dad liked Scotch and Whiskey, so we started getting him some for his birthday. He passed away 9 years ago, but I still make sure I get a bottle of something interesting share every December 24th. Happy birthday Dad.

A fun haul from the secret santa I did with a Gunpla group, complete with box art of the MG Unicorn to conceal one kir to troll me after I said on my questionnaire saying the one thing I didn’t want was another Unicorn, but I was ok opting in for the prank war part of the exchange.

Possibly the last build of 2025, the HG Weißritter is complete. I’m stoked I got to build my favorite Super Robot Wars original design. It’s also a rare intersection of where I really like both the mecha and the character who pilots it.

Haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on models lately for a mix of good and bad reasons, but finally have some progress on the HG Weißritter and getting its rifle finished is a nice progress point.
