Been experiencing a series of technical screw ups recently. It's probably fine but in the event of further screw ups if I disappear from bluesky and tumblr then I should probably still be found on deviantart and youtube.

"NightMongoose reviews media" post again but saw ChaO recently and even though odds feel low with the limited release it's had I really hope it gets a DVD release cos' I'd buy that immediately.
Thought "this seems like the kind of nonsense I'd enjoy" before watching it and it 100% was.

Every time something like this is announced I think "maybe there'll be an adaptation of a series I like" before remembering I was into webtoon a little too long ago and nobody even remembers stuff I really liked like I Don't Want This Kind of Hero (still, they only announced 4/10 so you never know)

Bit of advice to anyone who sees this: if you're thinking of making an animal part of your iconography, do make sure it's one you can actually draw. I'm attempting draw a binturong (a nocturnal mongoose-like animal) right now for the first time in a while and suffering🙃

Microsoft has been adding updates to paint again lately. Brushes now have adjustable transparency, and a .paint file type is now a thing. Feels weird, but does at least mean I don't have to save layers separately (in case you're really not caught up, yes, modern mspaint has had layers for a while).

So used to seeing a new feature added to a site and it being some useless AI thing I practically cheered when I opened this site today and saw they're adding the ability to save posts (An actually useful feature from a website? Shocking)

Sometimes I get short bursts of hyperactivity and it makes things interesting cos I look back on files and go "what the hell is this" and then I remember one night I heard about the penguin Vietnam war veteran beer mascot anime and tried to replicate an entire song from it.
