Heather Cox Richardson said something very interesting to me on her politics chat yesterday. Trump appears to not be participating in his own presidency. The things that are coming out of this presidency seem to be coming from someone else or some other group. We should all take note of this.

In case you didn’t know, hiring based on quotas is illegal. The 1965 EO for federal co tractors only required that contractors develop affirmative action plans to reduce barriers and focus some recruitment on minority and female employees. No quotas. 1/3

Trump revoked the EEO executive order of 1965 that required federal contractors to practice affirmative action in hiring. If you are a woman, minority, over the age of 40, or disabled in any way, this will affect you even if you don't work for a federal contractor.
