To be Black is to live in a space where everything about you is constantly challenged or met with suspicion. It doesn’t go away in Feb but we do have an influx of positive affirmations that: We are excellent. We matter. We are loved.

And we deserve those reminders.

Hindsight is (annoyingly) 20/20 BUT the House Select Committee should have pushed their CCP cyber hearing to today. Love or hate em, the gov witnesses gave a roadmap of what their agencies are planning - that deserves focused probing. Instead it’s buried behind CEO talking points that say nothing.

I love my various congressional timelines and group chats right now. Most chats are about the Senate Judiciary Social Media Tech CEOs hearing. But a mighty few are following the House Select CCP US Cyber Chiefs hearing. Both think their hearings are dramatically different. They are not.
