Seeing lots in my feed today referencing the @cos.io statement and @theguardian.com op-ed on gold standard science, and IMHO most people are worrying about the wrong thing -- it's not *closing down* the flow of science into policy that worries me, it's a radical *opening up* of data for reanalysis

New publication day! Happy to announce that our paper on irreproducibility experiences and mental health is out. We found that irreproducibility is a nearly universal experience for biomedical science grads, and that ~25% had emotional responses to it that that interfered with their work/lives.

All I've learned from reading a lot and studying on science is that these boundaries have always been fuzzy and that we don't have access to a complete picture of what science is or can/will/should be. I recommend reading history of science to every scientist. It'll shake your beliefs to its core.
