Also, increase in brain fog. Which directly leads to increased need for cognitive impairment accessibility on the web, and everywhere.

Spending $1,500 on vet at a routine visit wasn’t on my weekend’s bingo card and yet here we are. Whether or not the lump is malignant, it probably needs to come out. 10+ YO isn’t a great age for surgery for my service dog 😱

Looking for recommendations. I have too many peripherals and things are a mess!

I'd love a hub where I can plug in, say, 10 different USB-C cables. I don't use all the items at once, so power isn't a super issue. And I'm not too worried about data transfer speeds.

Does such a thing exist? Where?

Stunning! I've only ever seen one of those. I think it got blown out from a storm because it was about 300 Km inland on a large lake.

It was far - Never could make out such detail.

The eye is intense!

You'd be better off running down the stairs with a 12" chef knife ;)

This Great blue heron is walking on water. Frozen water, that is. And I wish him luck fishing through the thin layer of ice. He was full of confidence though.

@painteroflight.bsky.social puis-je vous faire une suggestion au sujet de votre texte alt sur vos photos?

Ahhh Lainey... I'm learning that nothing is obvious and common sense isn't so common... The world as we knew it seems to be evaporating at speed :(

And once more someone in the neighborhood is accusing everyone with a large dog to have let their dog poop on their front lawn.

Turns out, neighbor across the street has a Ring doorbell.

Plot twist: It’s a coyote. He obviously can’t read the signs “No dog poop on grass”.

🤦‍♂️😱🤪

They always sound so aggravated 😂

Belted kingfisher. They always seem like they are upset at something. This one kept going into the Fraser River and not catching anything!

Friendly reminder to people posting photos: Please use alt text. Describe the photos so people who can't perceive images get to enjoy your art

I won't repost you if you don't have alt text.

If you don't know how, I wrote a quick guide: nicolas-steenhout.com/alt-text-soc...
How to do alt text on social media for artists and photographers
Adding alt text on images you post on social media is important for blind people to access your content. Here's a short guide to help you get started.

A long time ago, a colleague in a staff meeting pointed out that some sounds were very distracting. Even the sound of a soda can being put back on the table was problematic. Since then, I put a tissue on the table so my drinks don't make too much sound. Helps for remote calls as well! #inclusion
