It seemed like in the 2000s and Early 2010s there was a trend with British Kids TV making segments or a documentary-mini series based off the real life counterparts to the protagonists on screen. I'm honestly surprised Thomas didn't do it earlier in the HiT Model Era.

This is based on a scene from the Terence book that wasn't from the original episode.
But as he rode along, the snow kept making his wheels spin and he found it quite a struggle. He passed Terence in a field. "You seem to be having some trouble there," called out Terence. "It's a pity you don't have caterpillars - then the snow wouldn't bother you!" This time, it was Thomas who didn't reply.
