My chimp art project started getting his hair today. I'm enjoying this piece so much. I have a feeling I'll be drawing these beautiful primates a lot. More coming on this tomorrow.

What do you draw the most, and why?

So, I now write during the week and do my art at the weekends. It helps keep me motivated and sane.

What helps break up your working week?

Winter has arrived

I've spent the last 2 days mulling over my current WIP, thinking I've missed a huge component of the plot, only to realise at 3 o'clock this morning that I merely forgot to raise the stakes.

How often do you look at your writing and notice something so glaringly obvious?

Do you find yourself rephrasing sentences in your writing over and over, or is it just me? Thank goodness for rewriting

I'm back to writing tomorrow, but I thought I'd share my current art project with you all....

I joined this platform a year ago. Time to actually post something. Say hi if you see me

I can't believe we are in 2024 already. It's now just 9 weeks until my next novel is released. A fast-paced dark thriller set over 4 harrowing days for the main character, Josh Raymond. Set in a forgotten Ohio town, Darkridge Hollow is not for those of a weak disposition 😋

Are you hoping for any books this Christmas and what are they?
December 20, 2023 at 8:17 AM
Are you planning a series, and if so, will they need to be read in order, or will they work alone?

My new thriller series, THE FLANIGAN FILES, will be ongoing, but each novel will be written to work as stand-alone themes, too. So, if you read them out of order, it won't affect your experience.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing
December 17, 2023 at 8:39 AM
Describe your book or WIP in 10 words or less for people who are just learning about it.

I'll start.

Beyond The Veil.
Dark, psychological thriller, from the mind of a serial killer.

What do you do when a new idea jumps out at you while you’re still working on a book? Do you chase the squirrel, or do you finish your current project first?
December 9, 2023 at 1:35 PM
The wait is over!!! It is publication day for the first book in my brand new dark psychological thriller series, BEYOND THE VEIL 🥰

When it comes to your writing, how often do your goals align with your achievements?
October 30, 2023 at 8:22 AM
Do writers still use a thesaurus? I do, but mine lives on Google 😋

How do you get your main character to speak to you?

Maybe you’ve started to hear their voice in your head, but they just haven’t been very talkative.

What can you do to make your character reveal their full self, quirks and all?
