Big podcast recommend for the fascinating @cockneyyiddish.bsky.social. Shifting language, radical protest, saucy new lives, songs and stories (read wonderfully by Miriam Margolyes & Nick Cassenbaum): and that's just the first 2 episodes. What's not to love?

Very much enjoyed Revenge: After the Levoyah at @theyardtheatre.bsky.social (as mentioned in this week's Exeunt) - very funny, very silly, and subtly very smart on lots of complicated stuff. I also enjoyed how hard @tommofowler.bsky.social laughed at the pivotal role chrain played in the getaway...

There’s a rich, shimmering atmosphere in the room when catching Revenge: After the Levoyah @theyardtheatre.bsky.social; we’re thrown into this story with Lauren (Gemma Barnett) and Dan (Dylan Corbett-Bader) who are both impeccable at comic timing and switching between the most absurd characters 👏

And yesterday: Revenge: After the Levoyah at the Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick. Really funny and I think there was a serious point about antisemitism in London/Essex in there too. Also just a really nice experience visiting that theatre in general - looking forward to when it has more toilets though.

So here’s five extra performances of REVENGE: After the Levoyah, but they’re already filling up fast (we’re not joking around)
