I just don’t understand how so many people who drape themselves in their Christianity have lost all empathy for other humans in the last few decades. Fireworks and moving lights at their churches instead of feeding the poor or following the teachings of Christ.

Health insurance was a post WW2 perk to attract workers to companies competing for labor. Now it’s a reason people accept awful conditions, lower wages, and worse.

Decoupling health insurance from jobs gives people the freedom to leave bad jobs and forces employers to compete.
