I saw Christy this afternoon and it's one of the best Irish films I've ever seen. Human, immediate, funny and sincere. Impeccably natural acting. Go and see it!
What is the sound of the Northside?

Brendan Canty’s Christy is in Irish cinemas now, proudly supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland. 📽️ 💚

What a wonderful afternoon at Greater Later from @wftireland.bsky.social I particularly enjoyed Úna Ní Dhonghaile's career insights and perspective.

It was wonderful to see the film that Joe and I made for Ireland's 1916 centenary receive a screeening at this important weekend by Dingle International Film Festival. Sharing common experiences between Ukrainian and Irish communities at such a dramatically beautiful location of the Blasket Centre.
