Our Deities Residing Abroad—When Will You Return?

The Art Institute of Chicago has returned two of the eight identified artifacts: the Chaturmukhi Shivalinga and Muchalinda Buddha. However, six others remain abroad, awaiting their return to Nepal. (1/4)

Great news - the Art Institute of Chicago today announced it will return this gorgeous 11/12th century sculpture of the Buddha in meditation, sheltered by the serpent king Muchalinda, to Nepal!
