My last holiday season meal I’ve gotta make each year. New Years Day black eyed peas. My mom brought it as a tradition from the south but I’ve heavily tweaked the recipe over the years

I’ll post the finished versions in a few days but I went all in this year and made batches of all of the rubs and seasonings I do. I use some normal and some weird dorky names 🤓🥳. Gifting them out to local friends, family, neighbors who help me test stuff. Made fancy silly labels and all

Haven’t been on here much but will be back soon. Went for a long walk tonight and saw lots of Christmas stuff and got reminded of some of the Halloween decorations that some neighbors did. I was out talking to the peeps with the house in the last two pics and it’s all blow up giant Xmas stuff now
