Our basement archive is now open Saturday afternoons from 13:30 to 16:30 (and some ad-hoc weekday times)
We've (thanks Penny!) had an enormous sort-out of our basement fiction archive so searching for a particular author or book is now possible! If there's something specific you're after, feel free to message or email us and we can have a look, or if you're passing, drop in and take a look yourself!

This Sunday - our fantastic Big Book Sale is on from 12 noon to 3pm! Books on all subjects and in all genres, we've got some DVDs, CDs and even vinyl records for your perusal! We should have home-made cakes and hot drinks available too!

A very kind person donated a few bags of books yesterday and we are super-grateful. However there was also a bag of personal documents and photos amongst the books, so if the donor happens to read this, perhaps they could come to collect them as we have no confidential shredding on site

So, I remember when I started on Twitter. One of the first things I did was live tweet a walk through Lewisham to find a toilet, cos some plumbers were working on ours. I ended up using Lewisham Hospital's facilities. I got thousands of followers just by doing that. Simpler times.
