Cutting route short due to bad fitting shoes. But secured a parking lot and found a way through the forest to the objective portal to the west. Will try the route another day.

The water data i imported even got the fountain from the condos by me on the map. Now I fill the map with life.

This pic that looks like it came out of mspaint doesn't reflect the work it took. This is the island i live on. Soil data was imported and converted into basic terrain types. Climate data is imported by the hour for L12 cells which blanket l20/21 cells with same conditions

In the grander scheme of achieving access to the St. john's water system, Creighton must be taken in order to secure access to a parking lot in Oakhill I need to hike further south. Links to Creighton will also help secure parking at Lake Ashby to the west.

I have time for a long hike today. After taking Longleaf Pine, new campaign objectives are connecting to the large fields over Deland. This is made difficult by the vast amount of empty land between them and my portals. I have three routes to choose from today to work toward this

Next objective would require 31 km of hiking. I don't think my legs can handle my weight for that length. I need trekking poles to divert weight to my arms.

I'm not that interested in going north to Daytona where i'll get stuck in an endless quagmire with the restless natives though. Focused on expanding outward in all other directions, securing intersections, parking lots, and waterway access.

My peninsula campaign got far but my beachhead was eliminated by the enemy in the same day. Main objective was achieved though and that was the portal on disappearing island. Next time I should kayak along the coast as far as i can like a viking raid party grabbing portals.

Slept at 9pm. Woke up at 2am. Taught at 4am. Next one at 7am. Half my brain is on China time and the other on US time.

My plan to walk West from portal to portal is sounding boring. It's not crazy enough. Need to up the ante a bit to feel alive again.

Florida is feeling smaller the more I hike. I thought my last hike was significant when I looked at it from a zoomed out view of Florida. But then I put the same distance over the Sahara Desert, and I felt small again.

Tomorrow is another rare off day. Do I make another major push in Ingress? I don't know what to do with my time tomorrow. If im not teaching, I'm building programs or hiking. But I can't sit for too long at my computer without drifting into depression.
