Romances in CRPGs are now basically considered an “essential” party mechanic that mainly just exists to make those playing the game get to live out various male fantasies…what owlcat dares to do in pathfinder is make a romance where the woman acts out HER wholesome fantasies on the player character

Damn Guy Haley is also a really good 40k writer. Unlike Dan Abnett he’s really good at replicating a sort of of surreal sci fi/fantasy approximation of an Epic Poem style which works fantastically for the setting. Dante followed by the Devastation Of Baal are so sick lol
