Learning to prompt like an engineer. This mostly means being intructional rather than narrative in my writing style.

A bigger shift for my brain than I thought it would be! 😖

Seasons change. I can't say I leap out of bed at 5am but love the sunny mornings replacing the candle-lit ones. Change and seasons is where life is at 🔆🕯️
Sunday morning, working at 5am… with coffee & candle - the small comforts that have made this possible during dark winter mornings. I’m excited about the days getting longer :)

At every meetup or after a talk someone asks: "why not use MCP, why orra?"

MCP = connect LLMs to systems
Orra = coordinate agents in production

Need state coordination, failure handling, audit trails? That's a lot to rebuild.

They work better together!

I'm currently reading The Cardturner by Louis Sachar with my teen. Great book and great fun to read to each other, chapter by chapter 😍

Good paper on “AI agents” vs “agentic AI”

🛠️ AI agents = digital specialists. They handle one task at a time (think chatbots or virtual assistants).

🤖 Agentic AI = digital project teams. Multiple AIs work together to solve complex, multi-step problems.

Thinking about AI agent evals- more complex (and fascinating!) than I expected. 🤯

It’s not just “does it work?” You have to check:
🏢 Domain rules
🛠️ Right tools & data
🌀 Edge cases
🔄 Full workflows
🙋 User safety & helpfulness
🛡️ Bias & security

No single test covers it all.

Most business processes follow step-by-step flows. But with AI agents making decisions, workflows get dynamic-and unpredictable...

Designing for failure is a super useful way of approaching things... it's critical in developer tooling, but where else could this approach be applied?

I kind of always planned things around a plan A - plan B - plan C way but assuming everything won't work all the time is a new headspace for me.

Confession: I paid for X!!!

Why: I thought it would give me less spam / ads and better curation on what I see.

Result: It didn't and I felt like a terrible person funding a terrible person

So what now?: I cancelled my subscription

Extremely sad
Alwaleed Abdeen was barely recognizable in footage taken by the #Sudan army: emanciated, and left in a school-turned-prison run by the #RSF

“Whoever can #torture and kill a peaceful person like Alwaleed… they are a person of no faith, no morality, no humanity.”
