This week @washingtonpost.com published an excellent primer on ESG investing. I was honored to share my perspective on why so many are opting for a values-aligned approach to managing money, despite the right-wing-manufactured faux controversy targeting ESG.

How to decide whether sustainable investing is right for you
While the catch-all term “ESG” has become a political flash point, small-fund investors and retirement savers still have options to green their portfolio.

Just because they spew, “DEI bad!” disinformation doesn’t make it true. In fact, it’s just the opposite of true, it’s nonsensical.

We need to stop conceding the language and narrative to them and reclaim it, NOW!! Otherwise, it’s capitulation.

Yes. Climate risk = business risk = financial risk.
"Yesterday a California court denied an injunction against climate disclosure laws, reinforcing that climate risk info is financial informantion. Investors and the public benefit from consistent climate risk data, especially relevant as CA faces major wildfires like the 100,000+ acre Gifford Fire."

🚨This week, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and DoJ said they plan to 'kill' DEI, by any name, including in the private sector.

But DEI is a business imperative. Corporations that do not capitulate to the Trump regime will win consumer support.
