@alanbaxter.bsky.social so I was in The Hobart Bookshop at Salamanca talking about horror books to my wife when a staff member overheard and suggested a novel set in Tasmania by a local author. Long story short, I loved The Leaves Forget. And now serendipitously I find you here, easiest follow yet.

The extra light from daylight savings at this time of year is nice, but it means you have to wait so late for it to be dark enough for people’s Christmas lights to look their best.
