Scoping review (n=89 studies) finds the strongest signals in:
• Positive identity & autonomy
• Social support & community connectedness
• Practical adaptations (predictability, flexible schedules, sensory-sane spaces)

Turns out ‘birds of a feather’ also applies to brains. In this study, neurodivergent folks had mostly neurodivergent friends; neurotypicals had… you guessed it… mostly neurotypical friends.
