I made buttons.
I started making pronouns buttons for the Her Art/ Their Art show next Friday at ArtHouse … but I was tired, in grief and feeling about how there is so much more to each of us than gender.
So I started reimagining rainbows and flags and creating beautiful patterns in bright colors.

The Kansas River has huge patches of ice covering here today, she keeps flowing beneath the rigid cold. She keeps protecting the life of her local habitat while dealing with freezing temperatures.
The river is my guide and my teacher. Nature is the highest authority, I bend my knee to her and pray.
