Had a good weekend of meals in #rva this weekend. Lunch at Postros Mexican was a solid fajita burrito. Breakfast at Smokey Mug was an excellent biscuit breakfast sandwich. Dinner at Fat Dragon was a tasty tangerine chicken. Good all the way around.

Ran my 4th #parkrun this morning. Time is way better than I expected. Was quite chilly to start but was very pleasant after a mile or so.

Rant time. #facebook is a cesspool of scam and spam. My mom has at least a half a dozen times clicked a link in a “for you” advertisement within facebook that is a full on scam with a screen takeover including audio that warns of account suspension and wants them to call a 1-800 number. 1/X

Just watched Ryan Trahan's 48th (!!!) days of his 50 in 50 fundraiser for St Jude. It is an amazing series that is generating huge donations for St Jude. If you haven't seen it, got watch an episode or more.

Just had my first Spicy Boys Fried Chicken sandwich. And it was delectable. Highly recommended. No pictures, I was too hungry and it looked too good.

Crazy rain in Central Texas this weekend. My run this morning was only in light to moderate, but on my way home the skies opened. I was doing 30 on I35 with all the other drivers. I have been driving for 30+ years and that might be the worst rain I have ever driven in.

Just watched The Life of Chuck in this afternoon. I enjoyed the presentation quite a bit. I have read the story but I understand it was pretty faithful to it. Recommended watch if you get the opportunity.

Ran my 2nd #parkrun ever today. Decent time considering I did a 44 mile backpacking trip earlier in the week. I’m in town for a few more weeks so maybe I can pull off a PR here before I leave.

Ran the #cap10k here in Austin this morning. Chilly and windy but overall good running weather. 3 mins faster than last year but not near my PB. Big crowds today as well which is always fun.

Just watched A Working Man. It is a standard Jason Statham movie. Was good to see a couple of female characters not just be victims or pushovers. Rotten Tomatoes has it at a 90% popcorn score and that seems reasonable. Entertaining but not fulfilling. Snack food not protein.

As a long time REI member. I just voted in the Board elections in solidarity with the REI Union against the three candidates presented. I cannot recall if I have ever voted in the Board elections before, but this year seemed especially important.

The ice cream truck in my neighborhood is playing Christian hymns. Pretty sure I heard an Easter one and a Christmas one. Quite strange.
