why do chaos stuff look so silly. like its either a bunch of mike wazowskis or resident evil big eyeball bosses

Very funny that Trails through Daybreak is supposed to be their big political story and it's so SO tame in its politics. Van's emotional stuff was honestly more darker than I expected and I really resonated with that much more.

I'm not too familiar with w40k, but is everyone usually this horny. Because the 2 modes everyone's in are either Dogmatic Vealot Cop mode or down horrendous. Also not the most comfortable game to playing in these times with literal muder cops but oh well

Happy Tio Tuesday! Tio looks like she's having a great time waving this flag around... Or she's too occupied with Mishy to be paying attention 😅

I think I did this With A Moon Shaped Pool, but for like a whole week when I was like 13. Might explain what happened to my sanity actually. The obvious answer. is ambient stuff like Brian Eno. I could listen to any Mountain Goats album on repeat, I'd pick Pierre Chuvin for this. pics of more I'd do

That's It for 2025. didn't play as many games as I hoped I would. I'm going to try to post more and get over my posting anxiety or whatever. Gonna do whatever I want on here from now on. Be myself, not worrying about being cringe. Maybe try and post art again, interact with people, who knows.

Honorable Mentions

Zelda TOTK : If this was the first game I would've liked it more, but I played botw to death. The new mechanics are fun but its just more botw

Harvestella: great vibes. I don't really play farming games much anymore but I will finish this game one day

Much better than 1, same problems as bg3. Great start then the game starts to break down as you go. Interesting characters and worldbuilding, but by the end its not much better than 1. 1st part felt excellent, next part felt too vast, then its barely put together quests and areas once again!

Started off strong, then just kinda fizzles out. Its really just a very average rpg in terms of story. Pretty visuals but it has that unreal engine mario demo look. Combat is fun for 3 times until I just want it to be turn based. The music really elevates everything. It's just a normal rpg everyone

10h of wandering around cuz i didn't break into someone's house ,go to their attic for a letter that's where. The most milktoast story and characters. the exploring and combat systems could only grab me so far. Started interestingly enough but the game just breaks down as you play.

Returned for the official release. Roguelikes were one of my main gaming genres, not so much now. Fun combat loop, great art, and an interesting premise. I did like the ending more than I thought I would. Too hard at start then gets too easy as the first game. I enjoyed it but it didn't knock me out

Waiter more Trails please! Liked the game much more thatn I thought I would, especially after cold steel. Again, charming characters, good vibes, music, and combat. It's my comfort series and it still got it. Though the writing is very cliched at this point. I am very excited for the next game

But man with the new central character the game actually got me to care. Just like Trails in the Sky 3rd it got me to care about a guy I did not give a crap about before. Reverie is the most on its bullshit the series has ever been. Everyone is here! And it somehow works.
January 10, 2026 at 9:23 AM
Ooh boy. Trails is one of my favorite series. cold steel 1-4 left me quite conflicted. One hand I enjoyed the characters and combat, on the other the writing gets so repetitive and plot points so predictable. With reverie starting off with undoing all that was not a great start.

Oh wow more persona 5. The brain worm is in there bad man... Although I don't play tactics games much and this game was a pleasant surprise in that regard. Came for my blorbos, left actually liking the new character. Enjoyed the combat, the dlc was OK. But its more of my guys, I love my guys.
January 10, 2026 at 9:12 AM
Oh waiter, More Persona please! Hey it's my silly little guys again. Really nothing in terms of plot or a theme, but hey Haru says fuck cops! I set the game to easy mode and never gave a damn about the combat. They are my blorbos your honor, and I cannot get enough of them.

Never played "The Answer" before. Now I understand why people weren't fans of this. More Persona 3! just with a more sour tone, and no friends. More combat which is fine, interesting little character moments that don't really add much. As Marsh said "Persona 3 Answer? I didn't Persona Ask!".

Played p3fes before and did not click with it much. playing reload as not a angsty teen might have made me enjoy it more. Confused kids not really fitting in anywhere, failing to deal with emotions, vibed with it much more. Although the game does feel a bit too clean, I miss the dinky skrunky feels.
