ROSES UNDER GLASS - Chapter 1 is out now!

Work hit me with another (admittedly small) narrative project right as I thought I was done for the year.
While it's VERY cool, I also think the whiplash gave me and an anxiety attack that I channeled into writing 1,000+ words of shock collar girl training in 20 minutes.

Rolled credits on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Like 80 hours of some of the best-presented gruel you've ever "tasted."
Totally solid in its MANY gameplay features, sans the combat which is "interesting" but very fussy. I can see why people call it basically a blueprint for the better, gayer sequel.

Rolled credits on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Like 80 hours of some of the best-presented gruel you've ever "tasted."

Adalgisa uses a nerve-bypass port which allows her to maximize her reaction time on the cheap.
Of course, she needs a connector when she's not in her mech, and her reckless use burns it out regularly, requiring a full removal and replacement of the port itself.

Just rolled credits. Remained pretty excellent all the way through. Some minor quibbles about the specifics of the story by the end, as it neatly tries to wrap all of its sci-fi concepts and "Australian grindhouse" drama, but damn if it wasn't just good fun.

Just rolled credits. Remained pretty excellent all the way through. Some minor quibbles about the specifics of the story by the end, as it neatly tries to wrap all of its sci-fi concepts and "Australian grindhouse" drama, but damn if it wasn't just good fun.
It's such a huge loss for Stepfordization that I'm a hard domme... I'm overworked at a stressful, lucrative corporate job that doesn't appreciate my talents. It's a layup! Yet switching hits me like water off a duck's back. 😩

I just really enjoy the performance aspect of it, especially when I make files for my friends. Also might be a nice ego boost~

Forgot to share my thoughts on this before, but it really is incredible that it's only 3000 words. Just a very sharp, potent slice of an entire life / unmaking that feels consistent and satisfying to peer into right to the end. Appropriate given the context, but it feels like sanctioned voyeurism.

It's been so heartening to see people finish the first part of Roses Under Glass (I know it's monstrously long for a single chapter).
LOTS of folks have actually commented on several of the subtler details and themes and nothing makes me happier than people just ENGAGING with my writing like that~

Holy shit, this is amazingly good. Evocative prose and well-realized mech combat. Terrifying organic ferrofluid mech, with a pilot just as horrifying as the monster she pilots. Deliciously painful betrayal. Maximal Value is a wonderfully slick and sleazy villain. Give this one a read!

Something I learned with this story: I REALLY enjoy writing fight scenes. They're such a good shortcut for character development.
I think I'm quite bad at making scenes feel "lived in," so having an obvious excuse for characters to do something while they emote and speak dialogue is so, SO helpful.

Finally just watched Cuckoo with the girls. NOT the kind of horror movie I expected. Like, at all. Still had a good time with it, though! Conceptually insanely horny with some really good imagery/ideas for hypnosis...
