In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. They aren’t visible to everyone else. So they really don’t have an impact

It’s horrifying that actual people had to wade through images & videos to identify & determine degrees of CSAM in the past; the PTSD levels must be through the roof.

The mass exodus from xitter to bsky is one of the reasons that Elmo is tweaking his algo towards “more positive content” (and because he can’t take personal criticism, even when it’s justified) - but more people need to just stop using shitty platforms full of hate and AI slop.
If you think only billionaires can control social media, You are absolutely wrong. Social media is completely dependent on its users. Think about why you do or did use FB, ThreadsTik tok or Twitter. It's because they have enough users. Take away all the "normies" and they all are worthless
