At the top: "Estelle", the girl with the big hair, bodysuit, and mole I drew in the quoted posts' first image. She always gave sorta Barbarella-esque "sexy sci-fi action babe with a raygun" vibes to me, so here she is, very roughly (read: poorly) posed. i promise i'll do better next time. Regardless, I get the vibe she works for some sort of super special agency -- hence the bodysuit being like the uniform or something. Gave her the rank of Lieutenant, tentatively. Bottom left: "Grover Greeves", software designer. No, he's not goddamn Peter Griffin. I've never watched a single goddamn Family Guy. Shut up. Not every big man with glasses and a plain white buttondown is Peter Griffin. This is a worn-out, overweight black man with a flattop haircut working at some tech company in the early 2000s with a bad back and nearsightedness from hunching over at a CRT-monitored computer all day. He's tired, he just wants to go home, have some dinner, and get some sleep away from a computer screen for once. Bottom Right: "Capilan". I have a feeling this thing relates to Estelle's plot somehow. Not sure if the alien-like face is its head, or a mask hiding its true visage. Regardless, it's humanoid....enough. Middle: tried drawing one of my cats. she wouldn't sit still. Top Left: "Grigor" -- sort of this giant, beefy, balding Russian wrestler-looking fella with a thin, widely-parted pencil mustache and a small gold chain around his neck. doodled a very rough idea of his build -- extraordinarily topheavy and torso-focused. that head is small, for he is beef and borscht throughout. Top Right: some sort of gremlin-critter-demon puffball thing. dust devil. idk. Center Right: Commander Tazrin -- Estelle's superior officer. I think I need to workshop her a bit more, personally; i'm kinda feeling more "statuesque" vibes might suit her. Regardless, similar uniform to Estelle, albeit more a leotard with (what're supposed to be) very tall boots, rather than a full bodysuit. We retro in this house. Center + Bottom Left: "Lectrum". The first sketch, just the head, is somewhat inspired by the character designs of Tron: Uprising by the inimitable Robert Valley, down to having some circuit-like veins crawling up the neck there. The bottom-left sketch is kinda crap imo; but it does give a neat overcoat and turtleneck vibe, covering those veins. Gives antagonistic vibes while also having the heavy makeup around the eyes that trail down the cheeks remind of clowns for some reason. IDK. Lectrum’s a meanie.
