Be aware of your surroundings
Avoid blocked areas or fallen trees
Inform the local outfitter about downed trees

Have you ever wondered where all the turtles go in winter? They burrow in mud and brumate which means they enter a state of dormancy similar to hibernation but don't completely shut down. They live off stored fat and breathe through their skin!
