RIP Drew Struzan.
It's difficult challenging people on here with good intentions, I don't want it to in any way sour their intent. I do however read some things at this time of year related to further education that are incorrect or demonstrate a lack of understanding. Should I challenge? Difficult one.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social There are plenty of young people willing to train as carpenters, plumbers etc. What there isn't, is the opportunity, as vast majority of employers do not take apprentices. Argument about lack of incentive to do so from central govt.

We were sat in Arthur's area yesterday, right in the corner, directly in line of the goal. Categorically, it did not go over the line, it was a great reflex save. Nevertheless, proud bluenose today.

So, as of yesterday, I am formally a Doctor of Education. I think a short course in the mystic arts is next.

Stockport gave us a scare yesterday. Also starting to worry a bit about injuries and momentum. Still, we're getting results despite a bit of a blip, which I would have taken this time last year. #BCFC

Well the first post may as well be a celebratory one. Was chuffed to come runner up in the education section of the Building the Future Awards 2024 last night. The event sparked some thought around how the construction industry can be enabling and redemptive for some. #btfa24 #southstaffscollege
