This is direct conflict to what Whitmire claimed his homeless plan would do & what he told Council last week when so-called Civility Ordinance expanded. Council had already read with own eyes Chronicle reporting recently saying this. Now KUHF says also. www.houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/new...
Data: Houston police ramp up citations of homeless people | Houston Public Media
Law enforcement officers in Houston are issuing more citations to homeless people for various sidewalk obstruction violations. The increase comes as the so-called civility ordinance expands.

I’d hoped all the electeds making sure they were pictured at the strike at the Hilton, would lead to aggressive push back to brutalization of Hispanic laboring class & others by ICE. So far that hope has largely been misplaced. Labor itself could also call on Whitmire to push back on ICE. #Houston

The Supreme Court has ruled this afternoon that trans people can be denied a passport, if they don't use the gender they were listed at when born. This of kind of thing of trapping people in the country is a step toward the goal the right has of killing trans people.

Houston Democracy Project Blog thanks Houston Police Officer’s Union for telling who they are. They don’t like Zohran Mamdani & is hard to imagine they think much of his voters. What if Houston politics moved in direction of NYC? How would they respond? #Houston www.neilaquino.com/houston-demo...
Houston Police Officer's Union Goes Out Of Way To Tell Us Who They Are-Be Certain To Recall
What you see above is self-explanatory. There are three points I’d make: 1. Many Houstonians would vote for Zohran Mamdani if he were on the ballot for Mayor of Houston. I don’t know what...
