English isn't my first language and I use British phrases and spellings all the time... When you learn a language by osmosis you have no idea what comes from where regionally. Also the letter Z is ugly.

Yeah I figured regardless of diagnosis, if the advice works, it works! But a lot of my internal narrative has been "you fail at X because you're an inherently broken person" so I'm hoping getting a diagnosis can help me lay off some of the blame haha

Since childhood I've been suspected of having autism and it always felt like it fit but also completely didn't. I've been reading up about the ball of contradiction known as autism x ADHD and things are finally clicking for me... I didn't know there was a name for my specific type of dysfunction.
