Finally played Astro Bot as my friend @nefariouslombax.bsky.social's house
Yep. I get it. It's definitely worthy of game of the year. It was genuinely a really fun time playing through all of it.

Update: He came around again & has 100%ed the main story & post launch Winter level. We didn't have time to do the other post launch levels but we'll knock those out next time.
And yes, he absolutely loved it from start to finish. Great to let a friend experience a peak title!

Spent the late morning & early afternoon with my Mum in town. She's got an art exhibition next Saturday & an old friend from school's got one this Saturday so that's really neat. Did some shopping with her afterwards which was a fun time.

Finished Delicious in Dungeon! Excellent watch from start to finish. Super fun concept with a very nice blend of action & legit funny comedy, served with a truly lovable cast aided by a top notch dub, & topped with Trigger's trademark gorgeous animation.
Can't wait for season 2!

...Tbh, I ultimately didn't like it. Fun premise & writing, but MAN this game has not aged well. Says a lot that turning cheats on feels like the intended way to play. Super rough pop-in & prone to crashing too.
