Thanks for your question @padkaer.bsky.social. I agree there are a growing number of methodologies to address the issue. Neonatology must embrace SMART science! @europerinatal.bsky.social @bapmofficial.bsky.social @99nicu.bsky.social @nnrdbase.bsky.social @neotrips.bsky.social
Interesting—especially the latter part, as my focus is on breastfeeding in infancy, particularly for preterms.

While randomizing to BF vs. non-BF would be unethical, couldn’t RCTs of interventions to promote BF be feasible—and arguably the path worth exploring?
