Today feels like a good day for a writer’s lift. ✍️
Fresh page. No pressure. Just one sentence.

Tell me: are you writing today, editing, or avoiding your draft by reorganizing a desk that didn’t need it? 👀📚

I became a writer because I love words, hate money, and enjoy staring at a blinking cursor like it personally wronged me.
I spend 6 hours writing 3 sentences, delete 2, and emotionally recover from the 1 remaining.
Living the dream. ✍️📚😌

As authors, should we be recording video or audio to support our books, or is the page still enough? 🎥🎙️ Curious where you land: helpful extension of the story, or just another thing to juggle? Let’s debate 👇📚

Taking a little break from writing to, you know… live. 📝➡️🌍 Research, obviously. Tell me: what’s the best “procrastination” that secretly fuels your creativity? 👀😂 #WritingLife #CreativeProcess #AmIResearching

Starting a new novel: 3% inspiration, 12% coffee, 85% wildly convincing myself this is a great idea. 😅📚 What hooks you in chapter one: voice, vibes, or chaos? Tell me before I overthink everything.

This is an older book of mine, one I still believe in, even if it hasn’t found its readers yet. The Coming Storm is about love, consequences, and the past that won’t stay buried. If you give forgotten stories a chance, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I went quiet for a bit, head down, heart in the query trenches with my novel Sanctuary. Now I’m back. Writers: what did I miss? Readers: what are you reading right now? Let’s catch up.

New year, new draft. Ditch perfection, pack curiosity, and show up to the page like it’s a promise, not a test. One sentence at a time, we’re writing our way forward. What are you writing first this year? 📝✨

Writing is convincing a blank page, you’re not boring. First draft: chaos gremlin. Second: therapist session. Third: haircut for sentences. Final: realize the title was the problem. Repeat tomorrow. ☕️✍️

Wishing you a holiday season filled with joy, warmth, and just enough chaos to inspire new stories. May your drinks be strong, your deadlines forgiving, and your relatives… briefly tolerable. Stay safe, be kind, and steal good dialogue. 🎄✍️

Writing is basically summoning words like a chaotic wizard: one minute you're inspired, the next you're deleting the same sentence 12 times and questioning all your life choices. Yet here we are—powered by caffeine, chaos, and hope. #AmWriting #WritersLife #WritingCommunity #WriteOn

Slipping into old habits lately, shutting down, carrying quiet pain as I watch a loved one slowly decline. Even everyday things feel heavy. I’m trying my best, even when I fall short. Please keep my family in your thoughts as we navigate this difficult time.

Curious if serialized short-form fiction is for you? If you love quick, punchy chapters, addictive cliffhangers, and stories you can devour on your commute or before bed, you’ll thrive with it. Think binge-reading, but in perfectly sized bites. Would you try it? 📚✨

Writers: your worth isn’t measured in word counts. It’s okay to rest, to refill, to fall apart and start again. Your stories need you more than your perfection. Check in with yourself today, hydrate, breathe, step outside. Your mind is your muse. Take care of it. 💛✍️

My writing process is simple: open the doc, type 3 words, delete 4, question my life choices, then reward myself with a cookie for ‘progress.’ 😅 Writers, be honest—what’s the most chaotic part of your process? 🍪✍️

Ink-stained fingers, too much coffee, and a brain full of characters who won’t shut up, welcome to the writing life. Some days the words flow, some days they fight, but we keep showing up. Because stories matter. And so do the people who write them. ✍️📚

Writing can be lonely, and depression makes that silence even heavier. If you’re a working writer struggling today, you’re not failing; you’re human. Create gently. Rest when you need to. Your voice still matters, even on the days you can’t find the words.

Big day! 🎉 Final edits are done, and my query letter is ready to go out to agents and publishers. Now comes the hardest part, hitting send and waiting. Here’s to new beginnings and big dreams. ✨ #AmQuerying #WritingCommunity #AuthorJourney

Feeling burnt out while writing? 🔥✍️ Remember: even your words need a nap sometimes. Step away, stretch, sip something nice, and let your brain reboot. The story will still be there when you’re ready—probably judging you, but still there. #WritingCommunity #AmWriting

Querying is basically speed dating, but instead of awkward silences, you send your book baby out and wait weeks to see if anyone swipes right. 💌📚 Here’s to polished pitches, patient inbox refreshing, and maybe a “yes”! #amquerying #WritingCommunity

Soon I’ll be querying my novel, which means: 1) refreshing my inbox like it owes me money, 2) stress-baking enough cookies to feed a small army, and 3) questioning every comma I’ve ever used. Writers, send snacks. 🍪📚 #AmQuerying #WritingCommunity
