Listen, I’m not saying that buying a cow shaped ice cream pint holder was the best idea…but it certainly wasn’t the worst.

I’m really concerned about how Americans can ever hold Trump accountable given that our Supreme Court has already decided that a president cannot be prosecuted.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

Speaking with my friend and Union president, Mike Jones @jonesymike.bsky.social against the anti-trans legislation proposed by our Wisconsin Assembly. Again. I can think of so many other issues that our representatives need to focus on right now other than making trans youth feel more endangered.

This isn’t a request—it’s a demand. Wisconsin students deserve fully funded schools, not endless referendums just to stay afloat. The legislature must step up. No more excuses. No more passing the buck. Fund our schools NOW. #HearOurVoices #FundOurSchools #NoMoreReferendums

THIS part. The book/show was not new to women of color.
YOUR REMINDER THAT THE HANDMAID’S TALE DEPICTED ENTIRELY THINGS THAT WERE ALREADY DONE TO GLOBAL MAJORITY WOMEN

The novelty was just that they were being done to white women

please, it’s not some startling new ground being broken ok

Today, I filed a complaint with the FTC, the Dept of Education, and to Josh Kaul (attorney general of Wisconsin) regarding the DOGE data breach. I encourage you to do the same.

I’m a firm believer that in a society that is as wealthy as ours anything that a person needs in order to stay alive should be free. That includes food, housing, medicine, and more.

Ordinarily, I would agree. But these are people who let racism and bigotry overrule their logic in a race to the top of the white supremacy hierarchy. That bigotry can lead to deaths. And history tells us that they don’t learn, but only stay quiet if they fear that retribution.
I think it already is.

But seriously. Don’t call them names. We want the door open for them when they realize the mistake they made.

We are for a better America. Not a vindictive America

As a queer, Chicana woman, I’m incredibly proud to have designed this “Protect Trans Youth” shirt with GSAFE & MTI. In this political climate, we must be loud in our support. Trans youth deserve safety, dignity & a future. 🏳️‍⚧️

👕 Not just for educators—wear it in solidarity!
