Last year’s shutdown had huge impacts on SNAP, so we wanted to make sure this was clear. At least through September 2026, SNAP benefits are funded in Nebraska and the rest of the country.

The House is back in session today- we'll keep you updated on when this partial government shutdown may end.

As we’ve seen today and over the last few weeks in Minneapolis and across the country, federal funding for ICE continues to prop up systems that have caused serious harm to our communities, while avoiding hard questions about transparency and abuse of power.
