Fuel poverty is extremely high among households in NI that primarily heat their home using coal (85%) or electricity (80%).

At our Breakfast Briefing, we revealed that 39% of adults in the country told us they are spending more than 10% of their total household expenditure on energy costs. 26% spend more than 15% on energy cost.

We are running a stall at the Health and Wellbeing event to celebrate Good Relations Week 2025 at Girdwood Community Hub, North Belfast. We are advising attendees about saving money on energy bills and dealing with damp and condensation, as well as other common issues those in fuel poverty face.
