When the IRS is at its busiest, helping workers and families file their taxes in MA and across the nation, Trump decides to drag the IRS into court in an attempt to pocket even more money from the American people.

This is his latest scheme—that Republicans are enabling—to rob America blind.

It’s no surprise that Trump has picked loyalist Kevin Warsh as the next Fed Chair. Over the years, Warsh has only proven how far he will bend to appease the President. 1/

As millions of Americans are feeling the impact of SNAP cuts in Trump’s One Big, Ugly Law, I’m joining my friend and colleague @repmcgovern.bsky.social at Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and Pantry to hear from those being hurt by these cruel and unnecessary cuts.

1/ International Holocaust Remembrance Day stands as a stark reminder of the horrors inflicted upon six million Jews and millions of others during the Holocaust. Today, as communities across the globe continue to confront antisemitism, we are reminded of the urgent responsibility to speak out.

1/ Another American citizen has been killed by Trump’s ICE agents.

These untrained, unaccountable officers are wreaking havoc on our communities. Their tactics, and these killings, go against everything our nation stands for.

All of western and central Massachusetts is under a winter storm warning beginning Sunday and continuing through Monday, with snowfall amounts expected to exceed one foot.

Make sure you're prepared for this weekend's weather event with these tips from MEMA:

Last night, I voted against the DHS funding bill.

Republicans refuse to demand accountability & reform within ICE, which should be held to the same standards as local & state law enforcement.

This isn’t about immigration. It’s about the rule of law & basic civil liberties that define our democracy

Affordable, accessible, high-quality health care is possible when Republicans choose to work across the aisle.

Massachusetts is proof.

Congratulations to Jonah on winning MA-01's @CongressionalAC!

His innovative app, "Health Advocate," helps users prepare for medical appointments and deliver better patient outcomes.

I look forward to welcoming Jonah to D.C. later this year.

It’s been a year of needless suffering—with workers and families bearing the brunt of it—since Trump was inaugurated.

President Trump continues his illegal tariff policies that do nothing but raise your prices. This time, he’s targeting our longtime allies for failing to hand over Greenland.

His feckless leadership is hurting working families and undermining our standing on the world stage.

1/ Yesterday, I heard from organizations across MA-01 that provide critical mental health and addiction treatment, all scrambling after the Trump administration abruptly cut funding. Hours later, the administration quietly reversed this decision after public backlash.

1/ The President calling the shooting of Renee Good “justified” before any investigation is conducted, and especially in light of the egregious footage that was made public, is disrespectful to the victim’s family and an affront to due process.

More than 1.4 million Americans opted out of their health insurance because Republicans refused to extend the ACA tax credits before the end of the year.

House Democrats forced a vote. We did our part to keep health care affordable and accessible.

It's now up to the Senate.

Trump continues to target the independent Chair of the Federal Reserve, AND his own appointee, for following the data and doing right by the American people.

Now he’s weaponizing the Justice Department against him.

Getting his way matters more than your wallet or economic stability. Pathetic.

The first year of Trump 2.0 has proven to be the worst year for jobs outside of a recession since 2003.

Trump has made clear his indifference to lowering costs and creating jobs.

But that only strengthens our resolve to keep fighting for the people.

This is a good day for the American family.

After Democrats forced a vote, the House passed an extension of the ACA tax credits to keep health care accessible & affordable for millions of Americans.

I urge the Senate to consider this bill immediately, ensuring no American goes without coverage.
Breaking news: More than a dozen House Republicans joined every Democrat to pass a bill extending enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies for three years — the sharpest GOP break with party leadership yet.
House passes bill extending health care subsidies, bucking GOP leaders
Prospects for passage in the Senate are unclear. The enhanced subsidies expired at the end of 2025, driving costs up for millions.

Republicans and Donald Trump spent all of their legislative might this year cutting taxes for billionaires.

Now everyone else is left with higher costs, fewer choices, and an economy that doesn’t work for them.
Almost a year of Republicans in complete control:

> Unemployment at its highest since 2021
> Nearly no jobs added since April
> US manufacturing has been shrinking for 9 months
> Households are paying an extra ~$1,200 for tariffs
> Layoffs happening in nearly every sector

We’re only days away from millions being priced out of their health care entirely, and Republicans are no closer to offering a fix.
