80-1094 is seen here carrying a repurposed pod (port wing). From 2001 to early this decade it was originally used for the Raytheon Remote Airborne Sensor, or RAS-1R, which is a radio freq signals intelligence sensor. It's not known what it now carries. @9thRW #Dragonlady

A long day with a few movements at Pingtung-North but we knew it was about the quality of aircraft there. We saw this E-2K depart in the morning so positioned ourselves for its return. A ROCAF Northrop Grumman E-2K 2502 but still has E-2C 151710 under the tail. #Hawkeye #ROCAF

A favourite of mine to photograph in Japan is the T-4, this one from 8 Hikotai flew a late afternoon mission from Tsuiki with a dust collection pod used to detect radioactive particles. You can read more about the pod in the link below, the article is by @theaviationist.com

At Hualien we got lucky with two F-16V's carrying the AN/VDS-5 LOROP-EO pod, otherwise known as the Phoenix Eye. Any F-16V can carry them, they are then unofficially known as a RF-16V. Also, two F-16V's returned from a CAP sortie with live AIM-9 and AIM-120s. #ROCAF @F-16.net

Just back from Japan & Taiwan. Main goal for the Taiwan trip was the last remaining RF-5E of the 12th TRS at Hualien under the 5th TFW. Two taxied out with a F-5F but the mission got scrubbed because of the weather. Luckily, they had to taxi underneath us on the way back. #ROCAF
