Rather than freeze at home (still no power after our bomb cyclone) Blue enjoys quiet nights exploring his room in the Hilton. This is a pensive moment just as the unfamiliar heater kicked in.

Fast asleep at C's house after a frantic day of no power and dead genny. My dear friend let me stay in her apartment and Blue did great apart from attacking her enormous plastic dinosaur collection...

Curiosity made me give this cat several time outs in his playpen. We're sheltering at a friend's house tonight after a horrible windstorm knocked out power and my genny died. Thanks to sweet, kind, Chandira! Life-saver.

Smuzekatze is German for
Snuggle-cat. An upset tummy made messes, and the demand for cuddles has been somewhat excessive...

Jpod was spread throughout commencement bay and dalco passage milling and foraging on plenty of chum salmon. I took the Talequah (Vashon) ferry to Pt Defiance about 6 times. Huge crowds were seen all along the coast.

As Winston Churchill observed, "Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing, once they have exhausted the alternatives."

He still won't tell me who he voted for. But we both know he votes with his claws and teeth...
