On the women’s side, Vermont enters the first NET rankings at 162nd.

Both Maine (138) and UAlbany (142) check in ahead of the Catamounts. Toughest upcoming game UVM has is vs. Princeton (44) on Dec 29th.

December is going to be a big month for the Catamounts, with opportunities @ Virginia Tech (74), @ Toledo (119), and vs. Colgate (136). Not to mention a pair of games against UMass Lowell after New Year’s.

For some context, Vermont ended last season ranked 112th.

The first NET rankings of the season dropped this morning, and Vermont men’s basketball comes in ranked 115th in the country.

UMass Lowell (46) is the highest ranked America East school, and New Hampshire (122) is right behind UVM in the rankings.
