Restrictions on some forestry operations will be in place over the next 4 days to protect the forests and New Brunswickers from the increasing risk of wildfires. This includes: harvesting, forwarding, skidding, scarification, chipping and all pre-commercial thinning and cleaning.

A new study shows that the environmental legacy of DDT is not yet fully known. High levels of DDT persist in brook trout nearly 60 years following it's last use at multiple tested locations. It was considered a miracle product at the time.
